Great-grandfather of my husband - Zherdin Abram Markovich according to the memoirs was born about 1879 in Latvia. He and his family lived in Moscow. How and when he got here, I don't know. In 1930-40 he was already living here. His wife Rachel Dovidovna. Children - Maria was born in 1916, Solomon in 1921. Abram Markovic died in 1881. I don't know what name was replaced by the middle name "Markovic", so I cannot define it in a large Zherdins family. Children of Abram married to a Russian nationality
