    1. [S23538] 1911 Census of England and Wales (Reliability: 2).
The 1911 Census of England and Wales states that Nathan LASHER was born in Poland.

It also shows that Nathan, aged 21 years was a boarder with Mr & Mrs Movshovitz and their four children sharing two rooms at 20 Hoharth House, Batty Street, Commercial Road and that he was a cap machinist as was Mr Movshovitz

    2. [S3] Marriage Certificate, Registration district Bethnal Green in the County of London no. 84 (Reliability: 3).
The marriage was solomnized at Bethnal Green Great Synagogue on 29 August 1915 between Nathan LASHER, age 24, bachelor, cap maker of 103 Old Montague Street, son of Solomon LASHER, dealer and Annie KOSS, age 24 spinster, cap worker, of 103 Old Montague Street, daughter of Harris KOSS, tailor
Nathan signed his name in Yiddish, presumably because he could not write English
