In an e-mail dated 19 June 2009 Zvi Harzion says:-
I would like to update data about the birth of Josef Ziwjan.
At the "project names" it is written that he was born at 1898 at Rezekne.
His name appears both at Rezekne as well at Riga.
I have found at "raduraksti" a record about Josef-Haim Ziwjan's birth at Rezekne.Dz1900 Rezekne page 10, rec. no. 11 which is also written in Hebrew as well.
Josef-Haim was born at Feb 1 1900 instead at the year 1898 as was written at the "project names".
Josiph-Haim?s mother was called Hana-Sara whose maiden was Caidan (or Kaidan ) .The maiden of Hana-Sara (Caidan ) is known to me from contact with some of Benzion's descendants in Israel and outside Israel and from the "project names".
Josef-Haim?s siblings were Dweira-Ita Streicher (b. 1907 03 10) , Hasia (b. 1913), Hava-Rivka Blumberg (b. 1902 01 07). I have found also records at 1895 ,1896 and 1897 about 2 other Benzion's children who passed away while they were small children and some unproven hints about their's ancestor who was born before 1800 ,maybe from Dinaburg.
