    • Abram-Solomon at his interview with the United Synagogue before his marriage to Sarah FOX stated that he had two brothers Pinchas and Henoch but that they would not be attending the marriage.

    • Pinchus has the surname KAUFMAN on Elliot PONCHICK's notes dated March 1989 and ws referred to as Pinchus KAUFMAN by Pauline PONCHICK on 18 July 2003

    1. [S3] Marriage Certificate, Registration district Nowogrod Akt M9 year 1877 (Reliability: 2), 27 May / 8 June 1877.
      It happened in village of Nowogrod on 27th May / 8th June 1877 at 10 a.m.
      He appeared the Jew Dawid Ber SZCZAWINOWICZ, member of the Jewish community of Nowogrod (kahal), accompanied by the witnesses, the Jews Kuszel CHMIELEWSKI, worker, age 70, and Lejba KON, shamus, age 69, both residents of the village Nowogrod, and announced that yesterday in fron of him a religious marriage had been concluded between Herszk Szlomowicz KKIKMAN, 53 years old, widower of Enta Szolimowicz KIKMAN, worker, son of the deceased parents, Szloma and Itka Pinkasowna married KIKMAN, and Sora Mariem KELLER, maiden, born and still living in the village Wyk, daughter of Jankiel and already deceased Ena married KELLER, workers, 25 years old, living together with her father.
      The marriage had been preceeded by three announcements published in the local synagogue on 7th, 14th and 21st May this year. The newy-weds announced that they had concluded no marriage agreement.
      Then this document upon being read aloud, was signed by us, the clients and the witnesses. The other persons declared that they were illiterate.

      N.B. In this situation "illiterate" could mean that they could not read and write Russian. They could be litterate in Yiddish and Hebrew.
