It took place in town Nowogrod on 23rd May / 4th June, 1878, at 2 p.m.
It appeared in person the Jew Herszek KIKMANan, tailor, 55 years old, resident of the village Zbojna, accompanied by the witnesses the Jews Lejb KON, shames, age 70, and Kuszel CHMIELEWSKI, worker, age 71, both residing in town Nowogrod, and showed us a child of a female gender announcing that she had been born in village Zbojna on 17th / 29th May, this year, at 5 a.m. of his lawful wife Sora Marya nee KELLER, 27 years old.
This child was given the name Touba.
Then this document was read aloud to the client and the witnesses and signed by witnesses. The client declared that he was illiterate.

He appeared the Jew Dawid Ber SZCZAWINOWICZ, member of the Jewish community of Nowogrod (kahal), accompanied by the witnesses, the Jews Kuszel CHMIELEWSKI, worker, age 70, and Lejba KON, shamus, age 69, both residents of the village Nowogrod, and announced that yesterday in fron of him a religious marriage had been concluded between Herszk Szlomowicz KKIKMAN, 53 years old, widower of Enta Szolimowicz KIKMAN, worker, son of the deceased parents, Szloma and Itka Pinkasowna married KIKMAN, and Sora Mariem KELLER, maiden, born and still living in the village Wyk, daughter of Jankiel and already deceased Ena married KELLER, workers, 25 years old, living together with her father.
The marriage had been preceeded by three announcements published in the local synagogue on 7th, 14th and 21st May this year. The newy-weds announced that they had concluded no marriage agreement.
Then this document upon being read aloud, was signed by us, the clients and the witnesses. The other persons declared that they were illiterate.

N.B. In this situation "illiterate" could mean that they could not read and write Russian. They could be litterate in Yiddish and Hebrew.

It happened in the settlement Nowogrod on 14th / 26th June, 1895, at 9 a.m.
It appeared in person the Jew Chajim Juszk FRIDMAN, member of the kahal board in the Nowogrod Jewish community, age 56, resident of the settlement Nowogrod, together with the witnesses, the Jews, Hersz Fajba BRUKIEWICZ, shames, age 51, and Abram JABLONKIEWICZ, trader, age 40, all residents of the settlement Nowogrod, and announced that today in front of him a religious marriage had been concluded between Moszek Herszk (two names) PIASKOWICZ, bachelor, 19 years old, son of the living Szmul Icek and Chaja nee RONSNIKIEWICZ family PIASKIEWICZ, born and still living with his parents, tailors by profession, in the settlement of Nowogrod, and Touba KIKMAN, maiden, 16 years old, daughter of the living Hersz and Sora Mariem nee KELLER family KIKMAN, born and still living with her parents in the village Zbojna.
The marriage had been preceeded by three announcements published in the synagogue of Nowogrod to the people gathered for prayings on Shabbes days, on May 27th, and June 3rd and 10th, this year. The newly-weds announced that no marriage agreement had been concluded. The verbal permission for the marriage was given by the parents of the newly-weds.
Then this document was read to the clients, signed by the kahal borad member and us. The witnesses and the newly-weds declared that they were illiterate.
