      It happened in the settlement Nowogrod on 10th / 22nd January, 1884, at 3 p.m.

      It appeared the Jew Oszer Gerszon LURIE, Rabbi of the Nowogrod Jewish community, accompanied by the witnesses Izrael IGLEWICZ, dyer, age 56, and Dawid CHMIELEWSKI, inn-keeper, age 43, all residents of the settlement Nowogrod, and announced that today in front of him a religious marriage had been concluded between Beniamin LIPNIAK, bachelor, 18 years old, bachelor, son of the living Moszek and Gitla Abramowna, family LIPNIAK, born in the village Jankowo, Mias?.. county, resident of the village Czarna, Gabrychow county, Kolno districtand and still living with his parents, as well as Szyfra KIKMAN, maiden, 16 years old, daughter of the living Zelman and Necha Mortkowna family KIKMAN, born and still living in the village Wyk, same county and district, together with her parents.

      The marriage had been preceeded by three announcements published in the local synagogue on December 24th and 31st, last year, as well as on January 7th, this year. The verbal permission for the marriage was given by the fathers of the groom and the bride. The newly-weds announced that no marriage agreement had been concluded.

      Then this document was read to the clients, signed by the rabbi and the witnesses. Others declared that they were illiterate.
