- Sid Taylor's grandchildren said that Harris came from Georgia whilst Gershon said he came from Vilna (Vilnius), Lithuania
Sid Taylor's grandchildren also said that Annie worked in a guest house where Harris stayed when he arrived and that was how they met before they were married.
All the birth certificates refer to the mark of Harris Tobovitch meaning he was unable to sign his name.

At the time of death he lived at 7 Crellin Street but died at 3 Raines Street. Death certificate gives cause of death as Phthisis which is a wasting disease especially of the lungs. Death reported by D. R. Thompson who lived at 3 Raine Street.
Jane Schofield said that during WW1 Harris made uniforms for soldiers. This agrees with Myer's marriage certificate that described Harris's occupation as an Army and Navy Contractor.
Michael Tobin said that when Mick Tobin was a child he used to sit on the floor and count his fathers gold coins. The family say that he was rich and that Annie had a lot of jewelry but that after his death it was spent or stolen from her.

N.B. The transcript shows Phillip's surname as SHULBMAN. The original census clearly shows it as DOBKIN. Phillip DOBKIN was Annie's first cousin.

N.B. Annie's surname is very difficult to decifer)
