      a) Literate ( this probably means he could read Russian)
      b) Occupation worker at a tannery
      c) Belonged to Jewish community in Vilani
      d) At time of 1897 census lived in the house of Mikolashevsky, 9 Naberezhnaya Street , Vilani

      Jake Kodish's death certificate gives fathers name as Joseph W Kodish
