    1. [S2] Birth certificate, Nowogrod Registry Akt M? Year 1844 (Reliability: 3), 11th October / 23rd October 1844.
      It happened in the office of Wyk, Ku.. district, on October 11th (23rd), 1844.
      It appeared in person in this office Zelk Szlamowicz Kikman, resident of the village Wyk, and because he had no birth certificate he asked about the conformation that he had been born in the village Dobrylas, Kupr., district, 1826 and that he was now 19 years old, that he was born as a son of Szlama, already deceased, and Itka of Pinches, still living, and that he needed this document to get married to Itka Abramowna from the village Rutki. He presented two witnesses, 1) Tomasz Nurczyk and 2) Jacenty Sobiech, both farmers from the village Wyk, both having all civil rights. These witnesses confirmed without any hesitation that they know Zelik Szlamowicz Kikman from the moment of his birth, that they were convinced that he was now 19 years old, and that he was a son of Szlama abd Itka Herszkowicz Kikman, that he was a black-smith and was never married before.
      All the presented facts were true, corresponding with the documents and they could tell it under oath.

      It happened in the village Nowogrod on February 20th, 1885, at 11 a.m.
      It appeared in person the Jew Izrael Iglewicz, dyer, age 57, and Dawid Chmielewski, inn-keeper, age 44, both living in the village Nowogrod, and announced that yesterday at 9 p.m. had died in the village Kuzie Zelek Kikman, 60 years old, son of Szloma and Itka married Kikman, leaving behind his widowed wife.
      After becoming convinced about the death of Zelek Kikman this document was read aloud to the clients and signed by us. Both clients announced that they were illiterate.

    3. [S3] Marriage Certificate, Registration district Nowogrod record no. M14/1844 Nowogrod (Reliability: 2), 23rd October 1844.
      It happened in the office of the Kupiska county mayor, on 11th /23rd of October, 1844.

      It appeared in person the Jew Zelik Szlamowicz KIKMAN, resident of the village Wyk, and applied for a document, confirming that he was 19 years old already and the son of Szlama, already deceased, and still living Itka daughter of Pinchas. He also announced that he needed this document to get married with Itka Abramowna, daughter of Abram from the village Rutki. He appointed following witnesses:
      1st Tomasz NUSZCZYK
      2nd Jacenty SOBIECH
      Both farmers from the village Wyk. They announced that they both knew Zelek from his birth, the he really was 19 years old (finished), and son of Szlama and Itka nee Herszkowicz family KIKMAN, that he was bachelor, never married before, and all these facts were full true. They were also willing to make a swear, if it would be necessary. In this situation this document was issued for Zelek KIKMAN.

      It happened in the office of the Rudka Strada county mayor, on 10th/ 22nd of October, 1844.
      It appeared in person the Jew Abraham Herszkowicz LIPSZYC, resident of the village Rudka, rag trader, and applied for a document for his daughter Itka, confirming that she was a child of him and his wife Dwera BERKOWNA. She does not posses a birth certificate and she needs it to get married with Zelik Szlamowicz from the village Wyk. He confirmed that his daughter was born on 13th January 13, 1828, and he presented two witnesses:

      x x x Pawel MASLOWSKI, both farmers from the village Rudka, in this county.

      They confirmed that they knew Itka Abramowna, daughter of Abraham LIPSZYC and Dwera BERKOWNA since her birth and that she had been born on January 13th, 1828, in town Jedwabne.

      Additionally they confirmed that she was a maiden, never married before, and all these facts were full true. They were also willing to make a swear, if it would be necessary.

      In this situation this document was issued for Itka Abramowna. The facts were confirmed by the client and the witnesses by their signatures (crosses, as they were illeterate). The correctness of the facts and this document was confirmed by the mayor?
