Married:
- Elliot PONCHICK stated, in his 8 March 1989 family tree that Henry and Pauline were married in Brooklyn, New York. Daniel DORTER's family history gives their marriage as 1898 in Zbojna, Lomza, Poland. The Fourteenth Census of the Inuted States 1920 shows Henry arrived in the USA in 1903 snd was followed by Minnie, Abraham and Ida in 1905. I have therefore accepted Daniel DORTER's date and place of marriage.

Notes |
- Danielle Dorter states that Pauline was the first of the family born with help of a midwife
Ruth Dorter said as a young woman worked as a pickle packer. The family used to sing "Pauline Ponchick pickle packer". Pauline corrected this statement by saying that she only worked in the pickle factory for one summer whilst she was studying. She was infact a hairdresser for 48 years and helped her husband build up a business of three beauty parlours.
Her hobby was amateur dramatics which she did for many years.
- In a letter dated 22 July 1965 Zena WEIL wrote "Rosanne's father, Joe is a bit of a "b". Nobody likes him & he is rotten to his family - which explains a lot "
Born:
- Pauline was born at home.
