    • The British Public Records Office does not have a copy of Jacob's military record. This probably was burnt in WWII when 60% of WWI records were lost. He did not receive either a medal or a pension. His Alien Registration details were not in file MEPO 35

      His military record shows his birth year as 1884. His marriage certificate shows birth year as 1886. His death certificate shows birth year as 1884. His Alien Registration shows 1886.
