  • Notes
    • In May 2004 the Latvian State Historic Archive wrote that in the 1875 Revision List it mentions Movsha son of Jankel who lived in Daugvpils(formerly Dvinsk). The Archive supposes that he was Lieb's brother. They also wrote about Jankel-Mendel son of Movsha born in Preili on 10 Jan 1895. Because of the location, dates and names I have assumed that this Movsha was my grandfather's brother. They also wrote that in 1897 Movsha's wife Stira lived with her sons and daughters indicating that Movsha may well have been dead and that there was more than one child.
