Sandra Kutner recalls as a child Minnie told her that she had visited cousins in Berlin and that they had put powder on her face before going out. Minnie was embarassed by this and scrapped it off.
After Harris died she lived with us at Castle Drive, Ilford. As a child I remember this old woman shuffling around our house. The focus of her day was the District Nurse administering insulin injections for diabetis.
