- I do not know how many children Jankiel had. The three I know had birth dates ranging from 1850 to 1865. If Lieb was the first born then Jankel would probably have been born between 1830 and 1835. If Bluma was his last child then his birth year was unlikely to be prior to 1820.
Died:
- Jankel's grandson, Jankel-Mendel was born on 27 Nov 1872. It is reasonable to assume that he would only have the same name as his grandfather if he was no longer alive
