      It happened in the settlement Nowogrod on 6th / 18th August, 1877, at 9 a.m.

      It appeared the Jew Dawid Ber SZAFINOWICZ, board member of the Nowogrod Jewish community, accompanied by the witnesses Kuszel CHMIELEWSKI, worker, 70 years old, and Lejb KON, shames, age 69, aall residents of the settlement Nowogrod, and announced that in front of him yesterday a religious marriage had been concluded between Szloma KIKMAN, 18 years old, bachelor, son of Zelek Szlamowicz and Necha Mortkowna, family KIKMAN, workers, born and still living in the village Wyk, and Mindla GIBALK, maiden, born and still living in the village Laski, daughter of Aron and already deceased Syma Zelmanowna family GIBALK, workers, 19 years old, living together with her parent.
      The marriage had been preceeded by three announcements published in the local synagogue March 19th, 26th and April 2nd, this year. The verbal permission for the marriage was given by the fathers of the groom and the bride. The newly-weds announced that no marriage agreement had been concluded.
      Then this document was read to the clients, signed by the clerk and the witnesses. Others declared that they were illiterate.
