It happened in town Nowogrod on December 20th, last year (January 1st), 1859, at 2 p.m.
It appeared the Jews, Joszk Jankielowicz Rozenbaum, shames, age 50, and Zelman Abramowicz Grodner, also shames, age 70, both residents of Nowogrod, and announced that yesterday at 7 a.m. had died here in Nowogrod the Jewish woman Sora Marya Szmulowicz Lipkiewicz, married, 43 years old, daughter of Kiwa and Ryfka Lejbowicz family Lichtensztejn, both already deceased. She left behind her widowed husband Szmul Szolimowicz Lipkiewicz, shoe-keeper, 42 years old, and children: Izrael, age 18, Abram, age 10, Leje Ryfkie, age 6, and Chajka, age 3, all living in village Zbojna. The clients announced that the deceased person had left no property and no written marriage agreement existed.
After becoming convinced about the death of Sora Marya Szmulowicz Lipkiewicz, this document was read aloud to the clients and signed by them.
