    1. [S2] Birth certificate, Nowogrod Registry B6/1834 Zbojna (Reliability: 2), 25 Dec 1834.
      It took place in Nowogrod on 25th December, 1834, at 3 p.m.

      It appeared the Jew Szloma Buniewicz POTASIEWICZ, labourer, resident of village Zbojna, 33 years old, accompanied by the witnesses the Jews Boruch Peysachowicz LEWKOWICZ?, age 33, labourer from village Krasnyborek, and Leyba Szulimowicz LIPKIEWICZ, labourer from village Zbojna, age 29, and showed us a child of a female gender announcing that she had been born in village Zbojna on 19th of this month and year, at 9 p.m. of his lawful wife Jenta Szulimowna, 28 years old.

      This child was given the name Ryfka.

      Then this document was read aloud to the client and the witnesses and signed by them.

    2. [S08506] Death certificate, Nowogrod Registry no. D41/1854 (Reliability: 2).
      It happened in town Nowogrod on 11th November / 23rd November 1854, at 3 p.m.
      It appeared the Jews Joszk Jankielowicz Rozenbaum, synagogue servant, age 47 and Zelman Abramowicz Grodner, shames, age 67, both residents ot town Nowogrod, and announced that yesterday at 6 a.m. had died in the village Zbojna the Jewish woman Tauba Ryfka Abramowa EDELSZTEJN, 20 years old, daughter of Judka Beniamowicz, already deceased, and still living Jenta Szolimowna, workers, family POTASIEWICZ. She left behind her widowed husband Abram Idzko Zelkowicz EDELSZTEJN, age 22, worker living in the village Zbojna. The clients declared that no property was left by the dead person.
      After becoming convinced about the death of Tauba Ryfka Abramowa EDELSZTEJN this document was read aloud to the clients and signed by them.


    3. [S3] Marriage Certificate, Registration district Nowogrod no. M12/1853 (Reliability: 3), 12 November 1854.
      It happened in town Nowogrod on 4th / 12th November 1853, at 3 p.m.

      It appeared the Jew Eliasz Wolfowicz HOROWICZ, rabbi of the Nowogrod Jewish community, resident of Nowogrod, together with the Jew Abram Dawid (two names) Zelkowicz EDELSZTEJN, bachelor, 20 years old, born in the village Las?, Ostroleka district, residing in the village Stanislawow, Ryki? District, shoe-keeper by profession , son of the already deceased Zelik Moszkowicz and still living Sora Jankielowna, family EDELSZTEJN, and Ryfka Judkowna POTASIEWICZ, maiden, 19 years old, born in the village of Zbojna, Kupiski district, and still living there together with her mother, daughter of the Jews, already deceased Judka Beniaminowicz and still living Jenta Szolimowna, family POTASIEWICZ, and in the presence of the witnesses, Joszk Jankielowicz ROZENBAUM, synagogue servant, age 46, and Zelman Abramowicz GRODNER, shames, age 66, both residents of Nowogrod, and announced that today in front of him a religious marriage had been concluded between Abram Dawid Zelkowicz EDELSTZEJN and Ryfka Judkowna POTASIEWICZ.

      This marriage was preceeded by three announcements published in the synagogue of Nowogrod on 10th / 22nd October, 17th / 29th October and 24th October / 5th November 5th, this year, towards people gathered there for Shabbat ceremonies.

      Nobody opposed the marriage. The permission for the marriage was given verbally. The newly-weds announced that they had not concluded any marriage agreement.

      Then this document, after being read aloud to the clients and the witnesses, was signed by the rabbi and the witnesses. The others declared that they were illiterate.
