It happened in the town of Nowogrod on 4th / 16th March 1869 at 3 p.m.
He appeared, the Jew, Abram Szlamowicz KIKMAN, 40 years old, tailor, living in the village of Zbojna, accompanied by the witnesses Joszek Jankielowicz ROZENBAUM, shamus, age65, and Kuszel Lejbowicz CHIEMWISKI, worker, age 60, both residents from the village of Nowogrod, and showed us a child of the male gender announcing that he had been born in the village of Zbojnaon 25th February / 9th March this year at 2 p.m. of his lawful wife Rywka Aronowna, 30 years old.
During the ceromony of circumcision this child was given the name Herszek.
Then the document, upon being read aloud to the clients and the witnesses, was signed only by the witnesses because the childs father was illiterate.
