- On 27 January 2008 Gay LESTER lent me a book privately published by Annie and Mike CORNBLEET of letters relating to how Annie's mother and her siblings were brought to England on one of the last Kindertransport trains from Vienna. It consists of correspondance between John Singer, her grandparent and the authorities. Although John SINGER never met her grandparents, Elias and Chane HUTTMANN he took on the guardianship of their children, in spite of having eleven children of his own. Elias and Chane HUTTMEN did not escape from Vienna.
