It is probable that the KELER family is the same as the KELLER and KEILER family of future generations. At the time of Zelik's birth Jewish people in Poland did not have surnames. The Jewish naming system would have been Pinchus ben Zelik (Pinchus son of Zelik). The Polish Pinchus Zelikowicz means Pinchus son of Zelik. The surname KELER has been added for clarity as to the family line being followed.
