403 I do not know how many children Jankiel had. The three I know had birth dates ranging from 1850 to 1865. If Lieb was the first born then Jankel would probably have been born between 1830 and 1835. If Bluma was his last child then his birth year was unlikely to be prior to 1820. ZHERDIN Jankel (I0001)

413 I have in posession a postcard that has been translated and reads:-

" 1. UNIVERSAL POSTAL UNION OF RUSSIA
G. Zh
L. Zh ¹
2. To the eternal Memory of my dear cousin, Mina
From your loving ( illegible ) Tanya Sherg

If the memory is dear to you keep it and don't forget, but if you don't need any memory, then throw it wherever you like.

T. Sherg

January 5/1/1913

Trumany ² "

¹The translator has assumed that these are the initials of people connected with the postcard.
I assume G.Zh is Hirsh (Girsh) son of Lieb Zherdin and that L. Zh is Lieb. On this basis I have assumed that Leib was alive in 1913.
